In Prison Outreach, we plan to use Bible teachings to appeal to the prisoner’s sense of judgment in regards to what is right and what is wrong. Ours is a mission to show the inmates that there is room for grace and mercy, and that we love them just as God loves them, regardless of their past behavior.

The activities under the Prison Outreach will be based on Hebrews 13:3 –

Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.

To ease their pain and discomfort, we distributes material that is spiritually nourishing, such as bibles, bible studies, tracts, motivational books, and handouts. NLF will also provide food and clothing to increase their comfort.

The Holy Bible tells us in the book of Hebrews 13:3 – “Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body.”

The New Leaf Foundation’s prison outreach program is committed to showing convicts they matter and have someone to count on. We are committed to helping inmates in the prison to build better lives for themselves and their families by understanding God’s principles and purpose for their lives through the teaching of the word of God.
The prison outreach is spread across the major prisons in the south west portions of Nigeria. New Leaf Foundation supports the outreach program with adequate funding to assist the inmates with food, clothing, religious journals, and every other need we can attend to during visits.
